For those looking to replace tail lights for an 2013 Acura RDX there's two bulbs, the 7440 and the 7443. This socket is for the 7443. I originally thought I ordered the wrong socket, but upon further review it looks like I needed two different sockets.

I was updating the lighting systems on my Acura RDX to use LED lighting and found that the rear brake light sockets were old, brittle, even burned by the incandescent bulbs used previously. They were crumbling and didn't hold the new LED bulbs well. This caused an intermittent fault in my daytime running lights diagnostic. I saw these on Amazon and although my sockets were cream colored, these dark grey ones looked exactly the same. They worked perfectly and stopped that intermittent light warning.It was so scary to find out that sometimes my brake lights might not all be turning on and such a relief that I wouldn't have to spend $50+ for two sockets at the dealer.I highly recommend these sockets for your Honda / Acura!!!
