I got these to replace the adhesive pads that came with a shower caddy pouch in our RV. I cleaned the spot with alcohol and applied the mounts according to instructions. They held really well, for a while. after a couple of weeks they failed and fell off.

These are not "one purpose fits all" adhesive pads. These are for small items that you really need to stay stuck to something.In my case (1 inch diameter version) I got this as a replacement adhesive for a phone mount in my car since I switched cars. I remembered the adhesive pad that came with it was 3M so I started looking for that. Originally I tried other glues like G___illa Glue (sounds like flotilla) and they all miserably failed but this did not because it's specifically designed for stuff like that.I think they are overpriced, but they do work. I did understand that I was only getting pads, not 5 strips, because I read the reviews first. 3M is a billion dollar company, they can afford employees who can make sure their ads are accurate

First off- maybe its just me- but the language and the picture led me to believe id be receiving 50 of these dots. Because the picture shows 10 and it says 5 pack. But no you literally get 5 stickers for 9 dollars. So i thought they must be some premier mounting stickers. They. Do not stick. Cheap and flimsy. Save your money. Buy something else

I'm using this to attach disc shaped Neodymium magnets to polycarbonate twinwall for a small greenhouse. I find this combinanation (Neo magnets and 3M VHB tape discs) to be a great way to attach many light project elements (in this twin wall panels which attach to a galvanized frame) without complicated hardware.I've used 3M's household adhesive tapes in the past, and they work well. This tape is a whole other level of adhesion. Great stuff.
