I bought these for trolling on route to the flats. My rails are 7/8" so got the 1- 1 1/4 " size ; added thick nylon washers to the hex bolts and cut some hose to fit between rail and clamp- came out super strong and tight !! The rod holders are fully lined to save chafing on the pole butts, however they aren't very deep- good idea to use quick release lines to keep the poles from accidental drowning in choppy conditions.

It's not very often that anything impresses me nowadays, but these have. The quality is excellent and they are much heavier than expected. Fitted in less than 5 minutes they look great. The amount of adjustment is impressive. These are a no brainer. Good value for money and 100% recommended.
