I like the length. It is long enough but doesn't go all the way to my knees like some jammers. I find those annoying.

If you're a recreational swimmer, a professional athlete, a club sport player, or if you train for 'other missions', this is your huckleberry. Super fit and comfort with what seems to be top quality materials and stitching. Get yourself a couple of pairs at minimum and keep an eye out for a '3-pack', totally worth every penny.

Bought these to go under board shorts and to wear alone for lap swims. Meets first need but aren’t compressive/tight enough to be used as a true jammer. These are perfect for someone who wants to use them under board shorts or as a casual suit or for someone who doesn’t want or doesn’t feel ready for a skin tight jammer. The length is great. No as long as a standard jammer, but not so short they look like hot pants. Nice medium ground. FYI I ordered small my waist is 32 I wear small in bayleaf running 1/2 tights and these swim trunks are a degree or two roomier than the running tights. Otherwise material feels great.

First about the fit, my waist is between 29-30, so I got the small one. It indeed fits me well and not loose. With that said, it is not very tight either, so don’t expect much pressure compared with a Speedo endurance. The brief is well made, and the material feels very smooth. I expect it would last a while. Will report if not.Anyway, I’m very happy with it and would recommend.

Thought I would write a review as I was a bit worried about my size choice when I ordered. For reference, these are the first pair of swim jammers I have ever bought. I recently become a serious lap swimmer for fitness. I'm 6' 1" tall and weigh 175 lbs. My waist measured with the type of tape measure tailors use is 33 inches. I took a risk and ordered size small (for waists 30 - 32) because I was worried that the shorts may be too loose and it wasn't clear in the reviews if there was a waist tie string. What I received was a pair the fit perfect and do in fact have a waist tie string. I will also say I have lean thigh muscles, so if you have thicker thigh muscles, this may change your size choice. I'm definitely very happy with my purchase, but I would suggest picking smaller than you think for your waist size. And don't rely on the waist size of your recent purchases of jeans. I'm 50 years old and have bought size 32" waist for the past 25+ years, and lately they have been much too big. I can't wear any of my pants without a belt. It seems the high end jeans brands are trying to make us older guys feel better about our expanding waists.
