These are good quality for the price. I wear them all the time. Not always in the shower but I have and they held up fine. No tarnishing or skin irritation. Definitely recommend!

Listen, I am insanely allergic to metals. The moment anything other than titanium or surgical steel hits my ears they are red and throbbing for days. I'm always wary about buying metal jewelry off of Amazon because you just never know what the quality will be. Happy to say I've had these in my ears for over a week now and haven't had a single problem. So I would reccomend these if you're sensitive to metals and are unsure. They also stay in perfectly, never had the black band come off.

I’ve had my ears pierced / stretched out for yeaaars, and every now and then my skin still gets irritated and real cheesy and red. When that happens, I will take out my size 0 gauges and let them heal for a while. They’ll shrink down to about a size 6 or so after a week and that’s when I’ll look for a set of surgical steel plugs for them. These are comfortable and have not irritated skin. They are of great quality steel and the rubber band stays put. Something I’ve always struggled with also. Would I recommend these? Yes. They are stylish and casual and if they come in a size 0 I will work my way back to it with this brand and material. Thank you!

So when I first put them in I noticed the difference in the ends of my usual tunnels vs the rounded ends of these and I love it, very nice, 10/10.The second thing I noticed after looking in the mirror however, was that they looked like plugs, which was a problem (I have to be incognito for work). I accidentally solved this by painting them over with my favorite nail polish (which humorously earned me several compliments from some people who I know are aggressively opposed to stretched ears)So, the only real con to these plugs is that there is no ridge to hold your O-rings in place. I have been wearing these for almost a week now, and haven't lost any rings yet (so I didn't want to take off a star), but I still worry about it becoming a problem at some point, so take that for what you will.Because these worked out so well, I will probably be buying the 6g version of these when the time comes and sticking to them for a while.
