Tip broke off skeg on 93 Johnson 40hp. This repaired it nicely.

It couldn't be any easier to put this sleeve over a broken skeg. Excellent quality

This is a cheap piece. The steel isn't very thick and bends some. Came with one side dented in. It was cheap and I made it work. The 2 predrilled holes were nice but my original skeg was broken were the hole was. Ended up drilling a new hole. The screws that came with it were to long and would bottom out before getting tight against my old skeg and this one. Ended up cutting them shorter and making due. I have a 2008 Mercury 60hp 4 stroke if that helps. I was able to make this work but wasn't the best option.

Installing the guard isn’t for the faint of heart. Mine required a large deadblow mallet to drive it on fully. Once it’s on, the holes were easy to drill and assembly is a breeze. Instructions were great
