I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

These carbide inserts are a perfect fit for my cut off tool and its great to have a quantity of them in stock. Carbide inserts are the way to go for modern lathe tools, though I have found that the cut off tools tend to fail more often than others. The tool does a great job and it just a matter of needing to replace to insert more often. Having a couple of boxes in my tool draw does the trick and will last me quite a while before I need to order more. Even when I do need to get more it's still better than working with a HSS cut off tool.

I recently used the 20-piece MGMN200-G carbide turning internal inserts and they've been a great addition to my machining tools. The inserts are made from high-quality carbide, providing excellent durability and cutting performance. The variety of sizes and geometries included in the set allows me to tackle a wide range of internal turning tasks. The inserts fit securely in my MGEHR/MGIVR grooving cut-off tool holders, and I've experienced minimal tool wear even after extended use.
