Bought these for our 2006 Santa Fe a while back. The originals had worn out, lost their staying power, and I (and the mechanics who happened to work on the car) were always wary that the hood would come down on their head/hands as they worked on the engine. I changed the struts in my covered carport in short order. They have worked flawless ever since. Rest assured. Recommended.

I have a 2004 Santa Fe, and the hood lifters had simply worn out. These came in the mail adequately quickly and was super easy to install.
