The clips will not work on 82-92 Camaro Firebird, we ended using the factory clips but had to grind the base were they mount, they are to thick to use the factory clips. Spend a little more, we had used Armstrong in the past and they are a direct replacement.

Junk. They don't even move. They're prone and won't retract or nothing. Don't ever buy this junk. Has no shock movement. Even when hit with a hammer or put a full 140 pounds on it. Junk.

The clips that come with the lift supports wont work because the pins on the car are too short. If you reuse the stock clips and grind down the width of the mounting points these will work.Once the supports were modified they hold up the hood very well. If you have a bench grinder it will take 5 minutes to modify.

...the clips didn't fit the firebird but used old ones & the shocks work perfect
