This yarn feels soft when it’s wound on the skein, but once I started to crochet with it, it tightened up and feels very heavy. I hard a yarn time working with it too. Since the yarn is folded over itself the hook kept getting stuck on the yarn when I tried to pull it through the loops. I was able to make a hat and the pattern looks great but the hat does not stretch to fit on my head comfortably. I’m sure it will fit a young child or maybe even a teenager. It will be warm that’s for sure. The black is a rich black while the red is nice and bright. I think if you make a stuffed animal with the yarn it will be fine, but I’m just a beginner so I’m not up to making animals yet.

This isn't the type of T-shirt yarn I'm used to working with. It's made from polyester fabric not cotton. There's 65 yards per skein & comes with a 5.5mm crochet hook. I had to refer to the product description on Amazon because there's no information printed on the skein wrapper. As you can see from my picture, it's very bulky after being crocheted & it stretches a lot so my rows kept wanting to curl. It's not easy to work with because of this, definitely not beginner friendly. There's also a sheen to the fabric, it reminds me of swimsuit material. I'm not a fan of this yarn because I prefer working with cotton yarn. IMO for 130 yds. (total), the price point is kinda high, even with the hook included. I'm passing on this yarn.

This yarn is fine. It isn't really t-shirt yarn like you might buy from larger yarn companies. Most t-shirt yarn isn't made out of the same material as this yarn. There isn't any material information on the skein band, so I can't say for sure what this is, but it definitely isn't cotton. The listing says that it's great for making bags, but this yarn has such extreme stretch that it's absolutely not appropriate for making a bag out of. It could probably be used for other things, but overall it's not a great yarn to work with. It's super slick feeling and it really has way too much stretch. Also, there is absolutely no info on the skein band, nothing about yarn weight or material or recommend hook/needle size.A hook was included with the 2 skeins. It's fine. Neither the best nor worst hook I've used.If you want t-shirt yarn, I can't recommend this yarn.
