Cheaper than jura filter, longevity and they work. Follow instructions when installing.Con: they don't click into place

Got two filters. Installed one then noticed the other package had been ripped open by someone. Assuming it was returned and resold. Check your packages before opening either of the filters.

ive had the jura ena4 auto espresso machine for a couple months, maybe little more.the OEM "Smart" filter has now 'expired' and unit is asking for replacement.the smart filter simply has rfid chip and, my guess, the unit tracks how much water has been drawn.the smart filter is now over $20 apiece.this primapure filter does not have rfid chip but otherwise fits and works same in the jura ena4 machine.and the primapure filter is only $8 apiece, less than half the jura 'smart' filter!trick is to get the 'cheat sheet' from jura tech help to set the machine into 'descaling' mode, rather than 'smart filter' mode. call jura tech help to get the cheat sheet.primapure filter is installed and machine is working just fine, same great coffee.yes, it might ask for descaling tablets sometime down the road.just fyi.

I have an Ena at my summer home and this fits perfectly. Slides right in and purifies the water. I do use filtered water anyway but the machine requires this to keep running. Nice to find it — it fits and is way less than the name brand.
