No way near 18mm cheap and bendable, not good for a thick chain.

Ordered these bales after breaking my original bale that came with my medallion. Didn’t want to be charged an arm and leg and a finger for taking it to a fast fix place at the mall. ( estimate repair 48.95) they saying because it was a hard to find large bale( 6mm) so I looked on amazon and I received 2 6mm bales for 12.99 and because they had a break in the bale for ease of install no heat or anything else needed. Had my pendant/ medallion swinging off my rope chain ever since( about a week so far) but anticipate no problems. Highly recommend looks greatUpdate 2024 November ….had this bale on a heavy heavy pendant been almost 8 months or more and no problem with the bale wearing out or disforming it’s been a great purchase for me. Had it on a thick rope chain

This item is descriptive looks good at first sight but super soft “ sterling silver” you can bend it with your fingers, it is large enough for thick chains but I doubt it can hold up to every day wear! Good thing you get 2 for the price I’m sure you’ll need it.

The bail for the necklace was to small. I would like to send it back.
