The original Moen replacement was as expensive as the whole faucet !! This one was not only a perfect fit but a great price. Working as it should. Super smooth operation (noticeable difference when turning it on and off). If you plan to replace it yourself, the removal tool is a must!!! Don't try to save a dollar or two. You will thank me later. I tried to remove the old cartridge without the tool just to check. NO WAY !! With the tool, still you have to use force but 30 sec later and it was out. Money well spent.

I bought the cartridge and puller as a combo set. I wouldn’t have purchased the knockoff 1222 cartridge, but it was only a few dollars more than just buying the cartridge puller. As soon as I got it installed it leaked at the valve stem. It was a gamble that didn’t pay off. I ended up purchasing a Moen brand cartridge and it worked perfectly.

Easy to install, works smoothly, and stops those annoying leaks. Worth the investment, even if it's a bit pricey. Highly recommended.

Great replacement for my old cartridge! Fixed my leak issue and the cartridge remover tool worked very well. I recommend following YouTube videos for assistance.
