Works really well. No bounce but does not match the image. Mine came as bright orange.

Less than 6 months of light use and the outer plastic housing cracked. Not on the impact surface. See image. Purchased to pound in plastic stakes and plastic end capped garden poles. Used it last autumn to assist the splitting hatchet for making kindling for the wood stove.Will use some adhesive specific formulated for most plastics to fuse it back together and then use some seizing line to hopefully hold it together. No point in adding more junk to the landfills if possible to repair.Have two other dead blow hammers for heavy duty use on hard materials. No issues with years of use.
