I installed these on a Tele Parts Caster Build that I completed yesterday and they seem to be well constructed and work very smoothly. They look and feel very nice. At this point I would definitely buy them again... No complaints whatsoever!

These will fit the headstock of an Eart SSS without any drilling required. The tuners look good with a nice finish, bushings-washers-screws are good quality. They grip the strings tightly ( I play 9-42; no slippage). Lock pins appear to be smooth enough that they won't cut strings, which is good. The posts have zero play in them so with a good nut (I use Tusq) and properly streched strings the tuning stability will be excellent. I would give them 5 stars for the locking mechanism alone but the tuning part is where they lose a point. Even after oiling them they're still far from being Grover-smooth, also I can twist the button almost half a turn on some of them before they start doing anything to the pitch of the string but once they get rolling there's no slop and like I said, the tuning stability is great so you won't have to interact with the tuning pegs very much.As an upgrade on a cheap guitar with cheap non-locking tuners these are definitely worth the price but if money is not an issue I would advise you to pick something from a more reputable brand. I'm not unhappy with them but they could be made better.

Un excelente upgrade para cualquier guitarra. Mucha mejor calidad en la rotación y materiales de muy buena calidad. Funcionan super bien y se ven excelente. Unos excelentes locking tuners de buen material a un super precio.

Just installed on my new Harley Benton12 string from Thomann in Germany,[well made and setup, flawless finish, chimed humbucker pickups, no fret problems, easy to play and a very excellent guitar]. Makes for restringing and retuning an electric 12 string way less troublesome. Looks pretty good as well! Holes lined up 99 1/2 % perfectly, just take care putting the screws in, I suggest not using a power drill but a hand tool so you can 'feel' the contact of the screw driver and when tight enough. First time from this vendor and I will update as to any future ongoings with these tuners. For now they perform as intended, nice and firm thumb button tension for turning, one or two may require minor end screw adjustments, a little too tight or loose.

I decided to try out these Kaynes locking tuners solely based on other reviews. I'm definitely glad I did ! Very nice surprise to see that these are made in Korea and not Chinese. I myself have tried pretty much every set of locking tuners that Amazon has to offer with very limited success. I've installed and sent back several sets of Guykers. They have been very hit and miss. 1 or 2 sets have been great, while about 5 other sets have been awful and had crunchy, hard spots. Bogart were decent but not amazing. Musiclily and Wilkinson were also average. But I installed these Kaynes on a Chapman ML2 (Les Paul clone) and on a Harley Benton CST 24 (PRS clone). And after tuning the guitars to pitch I could tell right away they were well worth the money. As smooth as the Hipshots I have on another Chapman and seem very well made. Pretty tough to beat Korean stuff when it comes to guitars and guitar accessories. Honestly, no need to spend the $130 on Hipshots or $200 on Sperzels. These will definitely do the trick for half the price. Good job Kaynes !! My new favorite.
