Cute kit. Great for beginners. Yarn is non splitting making it easy for beginners to learn without the problem of splitting yarn plies. The fist ring has already been started on the brown and white yarn. That would be okay if there was only one thing made with each color, but the beginner is going to have to figure out how to start because of the multiple pieces that use each color. I found the magic ring to be one of the most difficult things to master when I started a few months ago. The instructions are easy to follow. Video tutorials are split into 17 separate videos. I love when the instructions are split. It makes it easy to find the portion you need.

If you see this review on a different item, then there are either multiple item options, or the listed item was changed.I picked this up for my wife because she mentioned wanting to learn to crochet after picking up cross-stitching. After looking at this listing and seeing all the included items and info, I figured this was a great intro for her. She has not had much time to work with it so far, but she says the printed instructions and video were indeed helpful, and she isn't missing anything needed to actually make the included projects. This is a really nice little kit, and would be good for anyone just starting out.

The physical products in this kit are as described, everything you need and super cute. However.. the instructions are atrocious. I used to crochet and just wanted some refreshers, and I still had a difficult time following the steps for these! I had to separately research all terms and stitches in order to understand the pattern and be able to work in the birds. 5/6 attempts and still haven’t completed one. Just beware that prior knowledge of pattern reading is best here!

This crochet kit is cost-effective, comes with everything you need to get started, and has beginner-friendly instructions/yarn to work with. It makes an adorable little plush coffee cup. No complaints so far, I'm really enjoying working on it.
