Se ve bien y ciertamente funciona. Se pueden utilizar ambos interruptores (uno en el cable y uno en la propia lámpara). No lo utilice con ninguna bombilla de más de 60 vatios.

Con mas de tres meses usandolo, puedo decir que vale la pena comprarlo. llego a tiempo, no ha fallado, lo compre para usarlo con un foco EVOLUX( esos focos que se conectan a WIFI y alexa) y funciona de maravilla, eso si, solo como pequeño dato, NO LE QUITEN EL CARTON QUE VIENE PEGADO EN EL SHOCKET.

For an inexpensive stick lamp in an unusual shape, this is a great value. I am using it with a smart bulb as additional desk light during online meetings. The unexpected feature is that it has both a switch at the base and a rocker switch, making it a versatile device. The cord is a good length.

I picked this up to display an Edison style light bulb on my bedroom dresser. I wanted something to extenuate the bulb and just provide a basic way to show it off. I chose this fixture over others as I liked the style of socket used. It has a more elaborate casing and style that matched the look I wanted. I also found the base to be more modern than some of the others with a basic radiused edge nothing else.I will say that while I still rated 5 stars for the value, the quality is a little spotty. The socket can wiggle a bit in the base. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase though as I am using a smart switch to control the bulb so I rarely ever touch the fixture.

We bought a faux Asian lamp that looks like a pagoda at a vintage store. Turning on the bulb was quite difficult, as you had to reach up inside to turn on the switch on the socket -- I suspect that someone had replaced the original wiring, which probably included a cord switch. Replacing the bulb involved removing the bottom of the "pagoda." One of the screws holding it together had been stripped, making the whole thing rather unstable. I was going to rewire the lamp (the wire was non-polarized!), but then had the idea to get a small, free-standing lamp base that would sit on the table, and simply place the pagoda over it, lifting it up to turn on the light. This one not only does that, but includes a cord switch, making it super easy to turn on and off. It could also be used in a rock salt lamp, etc.

The plug prong (the wide one) on this fixture is too wide for any standard North American extension cord. The plug will not go all the way into the extension cord and sits about 1/4 of an inch out of the socket, making it very dangerous as it cannot be grounded.
