This was used for a dress up and it was perfect. Such a cute cat for my little French boy. You can use this as a news boy from the 40s also but we added a little scarf and a mustache and he was cute as can be.

First of all, this hat IS really cute. The design is attractive, and my son says it is comfortable. I think most people would be pleased with it. However there are a few things to be aware of:1) It runs small. My son is four and a half years old and he has zero room to grow. He may have a slightly bigger than average head but he hasn't had issues with other boy hats.2) It wrinkles easily. We still haven't got the wrinkles out that it came with (see photo). It says hand wash only. I suppose that if you don't cram it in small spaces this should not be a problem.3) I don't think it will be very durable. The fabric on the top is rather thin. Keep in mind that this is for little boys, who are not famous for taking good care of clothing articles.That said, I gave it 4 stars because it looks sharp and my son likes it.
