I found this tool to be very useful. Although it's designed for using with wrenches, I wondered how small of a tool it would actually hold. I was putting together a chair that had a small hex type wrench that came with it. It was hard to get my hand on the tool in order to get some better leverage to tighten it. So, I thought I would test this tool to see if it would work. I was very pleased with the results. The wrench extender worked perfectly and saved me trying to hold the smaller tool in order to get it to tighten. It's made of some pretty hardened steel, so I don't think it's likely to bend. It would take a whole lot of force (and probably not using the tool correctly to actually bend it), so I would say it's a very solid tool. Based on my test, I think it will hold even small 6mm or 8mm pretty easily. It's also great for the extension as well as the leverage since sometime you might not be able to fit your hand with the tool in a tight place. So, this extender is prefect for that too. I did not test the socket additional piece out yet, but my expectations are that it will work nicely too. I Highly Recommend this product.

The design is simple, yet effective. The two angled metal tabs lock onto the wrench handle. The angle on the tabs ensures that the harder you push, the better the wrench handle is seated into place. If you are using a ratchet with sockets, this will also hold onto most ratchet handles.I like that the kit includes a portable handle grip tool. In order to provide additional torque, the handle grip must be combined with a metric 21mm wrench or a 1/2" socket drive. My metric wrench set only goes up to a size 19mm wrench, so I have been using a socket drive and it works well. This wrench extension would work even better if it included an embedded magnet to hold the wrenches in place when they are not under tension.

I’m not sure I like the design of this tool but at the same time I’m not sure how I would design it. Once it’s connected to a wrench and you have pressure on it it’s not slipping unlike when you put two wrenches together.
