Love-at-first-sight with the 2.5-year-old, who had been to a luau months before and loves her movie princesses including “Moulana,” as she says. The “shell” set isn’t going to fit her for a while, but she can hold up the “grass” skirt, even though it will fit her better in a couple of months -- if it holds up under regular play. The flowers have already started falling off. I can glue them back on without issues, but one would hope that it could last more than a few days before you start losing pieces. The set would better fit a 5T or size small child. The flower bra top is held together by strings — not ideal for small kids to put on themselves. The headpiece and arm bands are elastic and easy for kids to get on and off. They’ve also held up to regular play just fine.
