Took a few orders to get the proper sized bit with Amazon. This is true to size for the diameter needed. I installed expansion bolts to tie down a Gazebo. All screws are Tight. Bit cut through concrete like it was wood. Quick and effortless with a hammer drill.

Drilled two holes and the bit is worn out had to go to local hardware store and buy another bit to finish the other two holes for my project

7/16" diameter masonry drill bits are required for some Fastenal 3/8" diameter anchor bolts, & possibly other brands - - but 7/16ths is not a very common size! Therefore, I was pleased to find this 7/16" bit on Amazon at a reasonable price!! Be assured, the present description of this SDS plus rock carbide masonry bit is accurate! Therefore, comments made by another reviewer about the description being inaccurate are not applicable, and should be ignored.

Top shelf. Cuts through stucco'd over concrete masonry blocks like butter, nice clean holes...doesn't tend to walk or wander.
