Seems sturdy but the velcro tab is messed up. Looks like someone tried pulling tab up to unvelcro, and top layer ripped up. Instead of it coming apart at velcro, the top tab split apart. Gotta try to re-adhere it together.

Second time I've purchased these for my kiddo. He wanted a second pair once he outgrew the old. They hold up really well over time. I highly recommend for kids
