I purchased the 7lb line for BFS fishing as was recommended by the guys at Tactical Bassin. I love this line and I found it better than my usual Sunline FC Sniper that I’ve been using or years. It comes with a built on line management sleeve for lack of a better word, that your line feeds through and it keeps it nice and tight and straight on the spool, no more unraveling or having to use tape etc to keep your unused line from becoming a mess. The line itself is very clear, and holds its clarity, unlike others that become milky or have a yellow hue to them. Knot strength, line memory and abrasive resistance are all important and this line exceeds my expectations in that regard.

This line is the best on the market. more sensitive then other florocarbon line I have used. Super smooth cast amazing As long as it is being made I'll never buy another brand line.

Positives: line is thin, very clear.Negatives this line is not very abrasive resistant. If it rubs a rock its looses all strength. 5lb test isn't that strong to start with but Seagar 6lb is much more user friendly.

For me, DAIWA J-FLUORO SAMURAI works better than braid, especially in Ultralight situations. It’s not as supple as braid but no wind knots and it is much easier to rig. I removed the braid I was using and replaced it with DAIWA J-FLUORO SAMURAI 4lb test. It’s great to cast lures and plugs from 4gm - 7gm. I highly recommend DAIWA J-FLUORO SAMURAI.
