This works fine, just like a bottle opener should work. The only mildy annoying thing about it is that when you pop off a cap it sticks to the opener about half the time, because magnetism, instead of dropping down to the cup. When the magnet doesn't catch the cap they fall straight down into the cup just perfectly. And then once a month or whatever I dump it out in the trash.So apparently the magnets that hold the bottle opener to the refrigerator are super strong and the fields attract the bottle caps. So after every bottle you have to reach up and take off the cap that's stuck to it. Not THAT big of a deal, but it slows the flow of things, right? So I'll probable remount the opener with the magnets in a different spot.

Excellent bottle opener, was tricky at the beginning as I thought my beer will drop but then realized with constant usage you become a pro!

I got it for a gift but ended up keeping it it nice and it works really well highly recommend it

This is an extremely well made, attractive, and handy bottle opener and a novelty with the magnet grabbing the cap prior to going into the cup. It is also a great conversation piece.
