I was so excited to find this lovely pillow and my heart sank when I removed the cotton cover to find a plastic like nylon cover for the pillow itself. I specifically purchased because I thought it was made with only Cotton fabric filled with buckwheat. I give two stars as I do think the cover design is nice.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the right fit for my neck pain and only seemed to make it worse. BUT it’s useful in other ways (lumbar support & knee pillow).Pros: The pillow and case is comes with are both good quality. It’s very firm which is nice.Cons: The sound may be a problem for some. It is quite loud, I was actually worried about this for myself but it didn’t bother me as much as I thought.

I love the design, how you can tie the ends off, the material and style of the cover, and then they give it literally the cheapest zipper I think you could possibly buy. My first one came without the zipper connector, they sent a new one immediately. The new one has an intact zipper but that is all you can say about it. It’s so small and flimsy, barely zips you have to be so slow and careful. Zippers like those are meant for tiny little zips on cheap coin pouches and stuff, not a product like this. If they put a good zipper on it, YKK if possible for their budget, and I would give it 5 stars EASY. Also having at least one other firmness level to choose from, the base product and one more squishy. I really love this product, just a shame that arguably the most structurally important part to make sure it’s atleast middle of the road quality is the worst zipper I’ve ever seen, red flag the company doesn’t care about the product, just feels completely backwards considering every other aspect of the cover is 5 stars to me.

I took a small amount of the filling out… it was a little firm but I have slept on it several nights. I’m sure it will compact. Saved the filling to add later if needed. I’ve had cervical spine disc removal and neck support at night is critical. This pillow did a great job. Small enough to easily keep it on the bed under regular pillows and travels easily in our camper.
